Previous Round Summary

Today we took on Seville in our final home and away game for the season.
Training through the week had been great following our team meeting on Wednesday
We started the first quarter well the guys were cracking in for the footy and our tackling was good, we just couldn’t hit the scoreboard. Gus was having a real impact with his attack on the ball and physical presence around the contest. Jed, Max and Hunter were holding the backline together and Mitch S continued his much improved season.
We finally hit the scoreboard In the second quarter with a goal to Branden and at half time the scores were 1.0 6 to 2.2 14
The third quarter was a tight contest with both teams fighting hard to gain the advantage. Blake’s and Elias’s play around the middle of the ground was awesome and Jack started to get his hands on the footy. Unfortunately we lost time in the quarter due to an injury to one of the Seville kids and at 3/4 time the game was in the balance with Seville holding a 2 goal lead.
We kicked the first goal in the final term and it was game on!
To their credit Seville were able convert more of their forward entries than we were – we were beaten by a better team on the day.
Let’s have another big week on the track guys and reset for finals.

Final Scores Wandin 2.0-12 to Seville 3.7-25
